IB Mathematics Maths Studies - Year 1/ Grade 11

The course is the first part of 2-year of IB Diploma Program (Mathematics Studies) and it addresses to students with various mathematical backgrounds. It is designed to build confidence and encourage the students who do not anticipate a need for mathematics in their future studies. The course includes one project work (a Maths exploration) that allows students to ask their own questions about mathematics and to take responsibility for a part of their own course of studies in mathematics.

Syllabus component:

1) Core topics: Numbers & Algebra; Logic & Sets; Probabilities & Statistics.

2) DP Internal Assessment: Maths Project.
