2. Six golden rules for effective presentations:

1. win sympathy in your audience (know them, make a joke)
2. maintain eye contact (do not read!)
3. talk as loud so that the old lady in the back row can hear you
4. 6 lines x 6 rows at the most per slide (watch about size & contrast!)
5. talk 10 minutes max! (nobody listens for more)
6. clarity, simplicity and then again -- clarity!
