The main goal of the world languages program is to help students develop the ability to communicate with speakers of another language. To achieve this goal, students need to use the language in a variety of real life, meaningful and culturally accurate situations designed to promote relevant communication.  The French MS program follows a spiral/sequential curriculum which leads to the development of communicative proficiency in French. The program is designed for students with little or no prior experience in the target language. Linguistic and cultural contents follow the recommendations of the European common Framework of Reference Level A1.  The program lays a foundation for further language study in upcoming grades.  We meet 2 or 3 times per week, 90 minutes per class.
