            Dear students,

Due to flue attack to our school all tests are postponed until we see how situation develops. Please, check Moodle site on a daily basis because I will expect you to fulfill new assignments as I post them.  This week we have been talking about Croatia’s geography, government, economy, religion and ethnic groups. Take a look at the maps and see if you can come to some conclusions. Along those maps you will get a book to clarify them.

Assignment for everyone is to send me by e-mail Croatian Culture journal (two paragraphs at least including things you like and dislike about certain experience). Due date is 30. October 2009.

Also, after detailed research make a ppt presentation about Croatian legislature and government. What presentation should contain is in the attachment. When you are done with research and presentation you should write three paragraphs, at lest, comparing government and legislature in your country with ones in Croatia. Due date is 7. November 2009.

            Hvala i ozdravite brzo!

                                                  Dragi osmaši,

Today we are working on an important part of our presentation - research, for your friends at Slava Raškaj School.
                                                  1. You should divide yourself into groups (same groups as in Slava Raškaj School). Agree as a class which group will work on what topic.Topics are: Lotrščak Tower, St. Mark's Church, Croatian Parliament and Government, Stone Gate and Church of St. Catharine.
                                                  2. Start the research and take notes. No copy paste!
                                                  3. If you are done with taking notes, start working on the presentation. Think of ways how to make it interesting. Group presentation shouldn't be longer than 5 minutes.
                                                  4. Upload your work to Moodle (only CC students can upload because they are enrolled). Don't forget to sign everyone!
                                                  5. At 8:30 go to classroom and talk how to combine every ones presentations together.
                                                  6. Finish your journals for homework.
